Kellerwald-Edersee befindet sich die Edertalsperre. Der Edersee ist drittgr\u00f6\u00dfter Stausee in Deutschland. Auf der Ostseite tummeln sich viele Wassersportler,\u00a0w\u00e4hrend der Westteil des Edersees mit seinen bewaldeten Ufern der Natur vorbehalten ist.\u00a0Im Norden des Naturparks liegt der Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee, der einzige Nationalpark in Hessen, mit einem der letzten gro\u00dfen Rotbuchenw\u00e4lder in Europa. Die urigen Naturwaldrelikte an den schwer zug\u00e4nglichen Ederseeh\u00e4ngen sind mit ihren alten Buchen und Eichen die Heimat des scheuen Schwarzstorches.\u00a0Die Attraktionen rund um den Edersee
