Eine vielgestaltige Landschaft, Berge, ausgedehnte ruhige W\u00e4lder und attraktive Fachwerkd\u00f6rfer f\u00fcllen die unterschiedlichsten W\u00fcnsche der Erholungssuchenden und Urlauber. der entdecken Wanderer\u00a0in einer gro\u00dfen Naturvielfalt bunte Bergwiesen und kristallklare Forellenb\u00e4che in fast unber\u00fchrter Natur. Auf flachgr\u00fcndigen Kuppen und Steilh\u00e4ngen finden sich Wacholderheiden, die heute wieder nach historischem Vorbild mit Schafen beweidet werden. Auf den Kalkmagerrasen gedeiht eine Vegetation, die reich ist an seltenen und besonders sch\u00f6nen Pflanzenarten wie den hier wild wachsenden Orchideen. Das Wandern steht seit Jahren im Fokus des Geo-Naturparks, 25 Premiumwege sind in den letzten Jahren entstanden, diese und der ausgezeichnete Werra-Burgen-Steig Hessen bieten den Wanderern eine ausgezeichnete und gepr\u00fcfte Qualit\u00e4t. Kulturgeschichtlich interessierte Besucher finden im Geo-Naturpark Spuren von Frau Holle und den Br\u00fcdern Grimm, zahlreiche Schl\u00f6sser, Ritterg\u00fcter, Kl\u00f6ster und Kirchen.
