Der Eco Pfad startet zeitlich im fr\u00fchen 16. Jahrhundert und f\u00fchrt bis in die Gegenwart.<\/p>\n<p>Vom Bahnhof geht es \u00fcber den Standort der ehemaligen Niederm\u00fchle zur Nikolaikirche, deren Turm auch heute noch das Wahrzeichen Helsas ist. Nicht mehr zu sehen ist das ehemalige S\u00e4gewerk, das 1968 abgerissen wurde. Der Eco Pfad f\u00fchrt anschlie\u00dfend zur Oberm\u00fchle. Weiter s\u00fcdlich verweisen die Kaskaden auf die Sprengstofffabrik in Hirschhagen. Von hier aus geht es am Waldrand zur\u00fcck mit sch\u00f6nen Ausblicken auf den Ortskern von Helsa. \u00d6stlich von Helsa f\u00fchrt der Weg durch das Tal der Wedemann bis zum Blick auf das &#8222;Lappenloch&#8220;, wo zu Beginn des 16. Jahrhunderts eine Glash\u00fctte in Betrieb war. Auf dem Weg zum Ausgangspunkt f\u00fchrt der Eco Pfad am heutigen Senioren- und Therapiezentrum vorbei, das die Bedeutung Helsas als Luftkurort in der zweiten H\u00e4lfte des 19. Jahrhunderts verdeutlicht.<\/p>\n<p>Der Eco Pfad Industrie- und Kulturgeschichte Helsa wurde vom Hessisch-Waldeckschen Gebirgs- und Heimatverein als gepr\u00fcfter Spazierweg zertifiziert. Sie k\u00f6nnen ihn als Ganzes (ca. 10 km) oder in zwei Abschnitten erforschen. Der s\u00fcdliche Teil f\u00fchrt von der Station 1 bis 6 (ca. 6 km), der \u00f6stliche vom Bahnhof aus zur Station 7 bis 9 (ca. 5,5 km).
