Diese weitgespannte inhaltliche Bandbreite wird zusammengehalten durch die Gemeinde Lohfelden, auf deren Gebiet der Eco Pfad verl\u00e4uft.<\/p>\n<p>Der Name Lohfelden leitet sich aus dem althoch\u00addeutschen loh ab. Damit wurde ein lichtes Geh\u00f6lz mit Grasfl\u00e4chen bezeichnet. Nach der Rodung und Urbarmachung des Lohs im 16. Jh. entstanden hier die Lohfelder. Diese waren 1941 Namensgeber f\u00fcr die neue Gemeinde Lohfelden.<\/p>\n<p>Der kulturgeschichtliche Wanderweg f\u00fchrt am Rande des Kasseler Beckens und an den Ausl\u00e4ufern der S\u00f6hre entlang und erm\u00f6glicht an einigen Stellen weite Ausblicke. Interessante Einblicke bieten die Informationstafeln, die den aktuellen Kenntnisstand \u00fcber die jeweiligen historischen St\u00e4tten und das dazugeh\u00f6rige geschichtliche Umfeld erl\u00e4utern.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr den Eco Pfad Kulturgeschichte Lohfelden ben\u00f6tigen Sie insgesamt rund 3 Stunden reine Gehzeit. Sie k\u00f6nnen den Weg aber auch in zwei Etappen erwandern: die gestrichelten Linien sind Vorschl\u00e4ge f\u00fcr Abk\u00fcrzungen.
